The Challenge

The Insights 

A leading Android smartphone brand was seeking to gain insights into the evolving consumer preferences of Indian consumers. They wanted to know the key factors influencing consumer decision making and also the emotional factors in play. We listened to hundreds of users from across the country, the experiences and journey with their most personal and valued possession and the one that they spend most time with. 

Through an in-depth behavioural audit of various personas, we identified many factors that influence smartphone brand preferences. Having clarified these common patterns, preferences, and expectations, we devised a framework that focused on the rational and emotional drivers of smartphone purchase and usage.
